The project stems from the need of NH Hotel to highlight its ground floor entrance, the public space of the hotel, to attract the public, and to give greater vitality to its common spaces.
The first design intention concerns the entrance to which was given greater importance and richness thanks to a satin golden metal. Such metal was displayed to widen the opening towards the city and at the same time, to narrow it into a funnel, allowing the entrance inside the container like a liquid form. This spatial liquid permeates the space with different functions: inside the restaurant and the rooms as a sound proofing system, and outside as a cover to allow the use of the court even in the cooler months.
